1998 Boxster Tip 120k

The 98 is going a little over 120k. The most important issue was a failed fuel pump (about $550 parts,1 hr labour). And of course replaced the MAF about 20k ago. Other than that routine annual service. Just starting my practice so hope shes makes it till I can jump to a 997 and garage her up...a reminder of school dayz.

Anyone know how to place a garage opener into the left panel of console? Many many thanks in advance.

1998 Boxster With 224,000

I just recently bought a 98 boxster showing 222,000 on the clock. Ive drove if a couple thousand miles and cant seem to find any problems as of now. Suspension is nice and tight. Drives Great. Im sure its had some kind of service done over the years, But no leaks of any kind. Price seemed cheap so i had to buy it.....

'99 with 115K. So far just a replaced water pump, a bad tank of gas, and some seals on the transmission. It's going to need a new top sooner or later, the plastic is just starting to pull away from the canvas. I'd guess I've spent more money on tires than anything else.

Does anyone know if the DME tracks run hours or start/stop cycles? It'd be interesting to compare those between low mileage failures and high mileage cars.

Hours for sure, not sure about cycles.

99,845 miles, daily drive. coolant tank, rear left bearing, AOS and back plastic window replaced. Top down, fun drive to/from work everyday
