Gas Cap Replacement

I see a lot of posts about certain CEL's being related to bad caps. I think mine is bad for the simple reason that I no longer hear pressure escaping when the cap is removed. And yes, I have a related CEL.
Question: What cap is a good replacement? Just a generic cap from any auto parts store? Surely I don't have to order an OEM cap.
Any help is appreciated!

Unless you opt for the genuine aluminum look silver painted one for ~ $150! :)
