I was checking them out about a month ago to see if I could
pick one up cheap as a DD. Given how the economy has
really pushed down values of most cars.

I couldnt believe how much people are still asking for them.
In the 30k's for 2005+ with less than 50k miles.

In 05 they were only 50k to start with.

I think I am just going to wait a little longer and see where
prices go.

I own both and there like apples an oranges. Both great cars on its own. If I have to choose I will keep the BoxsterS without a single doubt...

phew, that looks much better now.

Chrome wheels on a sports car is such a no-no - let me think again, I am hard pressed to think of ANY car where chrome wheels look good, except gangsta rides of course

wow. I know I don't come here as much as I did when I had my boxster, but it is odd conceptulizing you without yours. It is like finding out that the Easter Bunny isn't real. Enjoy your new car.
