convertible top sensor
 

My Boxster 2000 is leaving the Top down light illuminated. Is this a bad sensor?
If it's the sensor where is the exact location of it? FYI. I dis try the diy Hack that included bending a contact on the big relay to allow for operating the top with the hand break up a notch and with the car running down the roadway. I am not sure if that caused the light to contantly malfuction.
