Is there a difference between euro spec n north American spec??

I have a 01 S six speed special order from germany. I'm in the middle of exchaging my headers to maxspeed headers. I was told all 4 o2 sensors are the same size. Buy passenger side after the cat the o2 sensors wire is alot longer then the oem bosch sensors I bought. I really don't know if there is a difference between euro spec or north American spec can some one please tell me why all four o2's rnt the same?

I called my porsche dealer and they said if the boxsters are with out obdII then all four are the same and since mine is obdII that means the last o2 sensors on each side are different then the front

It is my understanding that OBDII requires 4 sensors be used while those cars built to EUROII standards only require 2 O2 sensors.
