Window Tint Removal Spray
 

Last night my buddy told me there's a spray one can use to remove window tint easily. One sprays it on, leaves it to work for a few minutes, and it crinkles up the film and it comes off easily without a razor blade.

Anyone know what it's called or used it with success or failure?

I need it for all three of my automobiles. Even the boxster has dark tinted side windows and it only looks good with the top up...totally stupid when the top is down and you want to raise the side windows to reduce wind in the cabin. It's also illegal in Texas to have limo tint on windows that are forward of the driver's shoulders.

Yes there is a spray. The part that I would differ with him on is the easy part. I watched my tint guy do this once. It is far from easy, esp. on the back window.

Having said that, you need a hot sunny day, plastic to tape inside the window, and a lot of patience. And a vacuum and windex to clean up the mess.
