New Ignition Key
 

I have justed been quoted by the Porsche dealership that a new key & the programming will cost £300, does anyone have an idea where you can go if you still have a key?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Sunset Imports in Oregon will sell you a key head and key blank for less, even with the shipping to the UK. Programming should then be just an hour labor plus the cost of cutting the key.

Only dealers can program the keys to actually start the car.
