Buicks come with fake Quattroporte side vents as standard! The amount of ripping off there is simply amazing.
A Boxster with 20 inch spinners will look just as bad as an Escalade with 4 inch wheels (it looks ugly enough as it is already). Yeaaaaa

Buick is actually not ripping off Maserati. Some older Buicks which predate the Quattroporte came with those vents as well...

130k on the odometer. And he didn't even clean out the trunk before shooting a pic of it for the listing.
Paint looks decent for a salvage title though.
I'd give him 2 large for that car. Not a dime more though.

[QUOTE=myfirstporsche]I saw this on Ebay. Would this effect the performance or just ruin the look completely?
I like my stock wheels.......for now.
Some poor kid missed out on a bunch of child support payments so the owner could buy those "things".
I gotta admit, I'd probably stare at it if I saw the car on the street, while trying to look away.......kinda like noticing roadkill, then wishing that you never saw it!

Along those lines.....at a stoplight once some dude pulled up with 22 spinners on a old cutlass supreme (even had 22" written on the side of the car). Obviously he wanted attention so I just STARED at him. the passenger yells out "What the F__ are you lookin' at?"
I said "You obviously want attention, so I'm just giving it to you"
Then he started opening the door and I immediately made a right turn and took off (yeh, I know...what a wuss).
So I clearly don't understand the psychology of someone who does something stupid just for attention----then gets offended when they get what they wanted.

I usually respond to "what the Hell are you looking at" with " Oh, i don't know, Dead beat dad, Highschool drop out or maybe both" or " Society's Problems" or " The new pro abortion poster child " depending on the situation.
Seriously,I really do stuff like that(only if deserved). I have never had a problem telling em like it is though. It makes them looked puzzled for a minute and sometimes they have to turn to their passanger and discuss it for a minute. By that time they can't even see my bumper.

You might remain intact saying that kind of crap in Columbus, Ohio.
Here in Houston, if you shoot your mouth off to someone from the hood sporting 22's on his LeSabre, you would not be able to outrun the responsive gunfire. They would shoot their mouth off back at you along with their 9 mil.
I just think the stuff you might say to these individuals and work overtime not to even shake my head. That'll get you shot at as well.
Fortunately, they only hold the gun with one hand and hold it sideways to look cool and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn most of the time. When they kill others, it's from unloading an entire clip or using multiple weapons.
In this town, it's better to just let fools be foolish with other fools and not entertain them or draw attention to the fact that you are not a fool. Jealously never manifests itself in productive ways.
BTW, there's a large number of 911 air cooled purists with bone stock cars in my local PCA chapter who say the exact same things about me in my water cooled boxster because I sport 18 inch Carrera lights and I have aftermarket skirts on the car.
I guess it's all a matter of perspective and attitude within that perspective.

I have a little more sense than to say it to the wrong people, and yes sometimes you can't tell. But some people need to be told they are idiots, because they are just too dumb to figure it out themselves.
I always find a big bore, like my kimber or glock 45cal, does a lot more damage and is more accurate than some wanna be ganster. and with my conceal carry permit, I take it with me where ever I go. A 16" mossberg 500 12ga might be a little harder to explain to the cops but it will definately get the job done. Just remember when seconds count, cops are only minutes away.

I like to leave the news that "you're an idiot" up to those who do it most effectively... police officers. They don't have to make excuses or do jail time when they unholster a weapon.
Just food for thought. I don't any more to add to this thread.

The 'junk in the trunk' is probably the box of parts they took off to repair it and didn't know where to put back.

The bid on the Cadi is up to $215.39
Seems like a strange number. I think I might bid $216.00 to help the brother out.

In honor of Buick, I put in a $225 bid for the Cadi.
Sadly, I was immediately outbid.
