Instrument panel light out

I was messing around with the electrical wires for the past couple days and haven't driven it at night until now. My lights are out for my rpm guage. The speedometer and fuel guages are fine. I think it's unlikely that the bulb just went within the same time span of me messing with wires. I've basically just been trying to hook up an additional cigarette socket underneath the radio after you take off the trim. There is a molex connector which allows for this and there are bundles of other wires as well. I'm thinking I did something to make that light go out. Could there be a fuse that only controls the center cluster independent from the others or did my bulbs just happen to blow?

You either yanked out a wire or the bulb blew coincidentally. The fuse for the cluster is for the whole thing, not just the center.

It's weird how that happens sometimes I guess. The bulbs probably did go out and I'll check it tomorrow. But I have to say randall, my boxster is a lot cooler than jesus ;) I also vaguely remember someone on this forum stating that they were able to switch the color of the instrument display (can't remember if it was the background lights or the lcd lights or both). Anyone know about this? I did a search but couldn't come up with anytyhing.
