Balo Rotors

Hi,

did anyone ever hear of Balo Rotors?

They are a reputable German brand. Long-time OE supplier to BMW and now also to Porsche.

At that price, the "hat" portion of the rotor is probably not coated with an anti-corrosion paint. Plan on painting the "hat" with a high-temp paint before installation or you will have unsightly rust to look at every day.

Zimmerman has "coated" hats, but do cost more than Balo.

Most aftermarket rotors have anti-rust coating on them... but the problem is it all comes off after a year of winter driving. Ask me how I know this.

If you don't paint the hat, it's going to rust, which in turn the rust will get to your wheels.

I keep hearing all zimmermann rotor hats are now painted, but have yet to see any photos or have it stated on the product page of any online stores.
