Boxster colours
Hi All,
Just to say that this is a great site and a brilliant resource to learn all I can before buying. Was hoping you could give me some advice? Obviously the colour of a car is down to personal choice, but are there any colours that should be avoided? For example I am currently looking at an Ocean Jade one which I think is gorgeous. It has a greay interior with ocean jade centre console, dials and roll bars. Any comments?
Cheers!

I'm not sure what Ocean Jade is, but I'd say in general that resale of highly personal or unusual colors (er...colours) will suffer unless you find a like-minded soul.
Personally I like dark cars with tan or gray interiors. Many (myself included as a young man) love black interiors in any color car. Silver Porsches are always beautiful.
You obviously understand the implications of personal choice. That should tell you what to avoid, or help you decide to go wild anyway.
And WELCOME.

Tia 33 - there was an immaculate Ocean Jade / black interior car in our local OPC for MONTHS - the salesman said they could not sell it purely on the colour. I think they eventually sold it on to the trade.....
Its your money, but be prepared to take a hit when it comes to trade in time - the dealers don't want an unpopular coloured car sitting on the forecourt.

Ocean Jade... isn't that Djomlas's color?? (For the uninitiated, search Members--he's got I've-forgotten-how-many thousands of posts.) Ah, Tony just beat me to it.
