there was also a guy a few yrs back that painted red his rotors and calipers and pads and everything, i think he just took the wheels off and went to town with it

But then again, its really not a big deal couse the 1st time he breaks the braking surface will clear up and it will be fine. Funny couse theres a corvette guru sitting next to me and he says that they all paint them like that , so go figure.

I know I am going to sound dumber than a box of rocks asking. . .

But would not the brake pads just wear the paint back off?

yeah they will, so its really not a big deal at all.
another problem is that it doesnt look like a high heat paint either.

That first time on the brakes could be exciting!

I like step 5. Why would you go to all that work when you have a basically solid wheel that'll cover everything up? Not going to wrap my mind around that logic.
