private sale of 2003 boxter 2.7 tips please
 

could someone give me some tips what to look out for on buying 2003 53 boxter 2.7 228hp
been reading the oil leak messages scares the hell out of me the car has 51000 on the clock
its my first post on the forum as ive never owned a porsche before

ps where is the vin is it on the front window of the car as prev owner has sent away the v5 to get the private plate taken off really need to do a hpi check

Can you explain a bit more on the issue of the private plate and the HPI check? NO sure what this means.
