I've come in from the cold
 

After a 23 year self impossed exile, I've returned to the fold. Thanks to all who have kept the home fires burning. This is a great site and as always the Porsche Owners here are the best.

My last Porsche was a 1973, 914 2L. My new Posche is a 2002 Boxster S, 32000 miles.

I needed to park my full size Chevy truck and xommute in a more economical car so what to buy???? Looked at and drove ever econbox and sedan on the market and just could not find one to buy. Finally I made a list of what I needed in transportation and what each car lacked. When I decided to look a 2 seater cars because I am alone in my car 99.9% of the time the Boxster came to the top of the list. When I bought it for less than a coworkers new Toyota Corolla I could not go any farther. My 45 minute commute is now less, sometimes much less.

So I want to say "Hi everyone" rural South Carolina is a great place to drive. Y'all come :D
