Spoke with the seller today. Seems to be a very nice guy, totally straight up, no BS. He said it was used on his car only, so I made the deal.
The lack of a plastic box doesn't really matter to me. I was able to download the software from Durametric. Don't think a user manual, if there was one available, would be of much use. Everything I need to know is on Durametric's site or built into the software - and then I have you guys to ask. Don't think the remaining two car limit's going to be an issue for me, as I don't trade cars often.
All in all, I think I got a pretty fair deal.
