Center windscreen bracket (trim)

Anyone know if you can buy the trim that goes around the center windscreen to secure it to the fasteners on the roll as a seperate item? Or can it be removed easily from another OEM windscreen?

Are you thinking of cutting the plexiglass yourself?
You cannot buy the black plastic trim by itself, you have to buy the complete windscreen deflector. You might be able to get the trim from another windscreen but it would not be simple.

How is affixed to the windscreen?

If I get a used windscreen can I pull off the plastic bracket? Is it just glued on?
The replacement windscreens (laser etched) do not come with the bracket. How are you supposed to install them?

The black plastic trim is attached to the roll bar. I believe that it is rivited in place. The factory windscreen is just the Lexan glass with two clips at the top corners.
