Ignition Issue?

Started up first try this morning. Backed out of the garage for a little wash and wax. And then turned the key and nothing.

All warning lights illuminated. Only the faintest click - might not of even heard that but the engine cover is off. I have a new battery - so I will swap that out today.
Engine didn't even start to turn over.

Any suggestions?

First thing to do is wiggle the key and push it in and pull out a bit while turning it and see if you can get the car started and back into the garage.

My guess is that your ignition switch just crapped out on you. If you can start the car but the electrical stuff acts weird, this is definitely your problem.

The switch is plastic and not well made and they go out all of a sudden. Good thing is it's not expensive to fix as long as you don't take it to the stealership... they replace the whole key mechanism in the dash and charge you a fortune.
