Boxster badge 'adjustment' advice needed.
 

Greetings all,
I recently put on the 550 edition chrome Boxster logo. I nailed the centering of it but I need to adjust the 'curl' on the ends to even it out. It feels like it will pull up if I am careful so would a hair drier do the trick to just soften up the glue enough to pull away? I am just trying to avoid damaging the clear coat and not waste $ on buying a new one just to correct the positioning by a few millimeters.
