Snow Chains for 18"?

Does anyone in the Bay Area have snow chains to borrow or know where to get them? Tires are 285-30-18 & 240-40-18 I know its not the perfect fit for driving in the snow and that is not the plan, but in case i get snowed in thats all

thanks
cris

I bought a set of these for my 17" rims. I've never had to use them but, they seem to be built well and are low profile. They might make them in your size.

I went with a very good set of Hankook winter tires on my stock 17's in the stock sizes and they have worked great. I only got stuck a couple of times when the snow was too deep and the car was high centered. I later read in my manual that I can use chains but it says to use the optional winter sizes. A lot of it has to do with clearance when the chains expand at speed. My manual says to use a narrow rear tire in order to be able to use chains. I would check that out before finding chains that you might not even be able to use.
