My seatbelt is getting wet

I've noticed that after it rains a good bit if I get in my car my seat belt will be damp. Is there a seal that maybe needs to be changed somewhere or is this just something that happens?

put the top up if its raining..... ;-) Or drive faster!

Can't help you there, it rains a ton here and mine stays dry, you might want to make sure the window is going up it's 1/2" when the door closes.

Sounds like a personal problem... lol ;)

But, seriously, this shouldn't happen.

I assume you're still under warranty? Well then, just get it to a dealer and let them sort it out.

Not only that, but you'll be on record if the interior ever floods and your alarm module (under the driver's seat) ever goes BLOOWEY!

Probably the drains are clogged

I agree, it is probably the drains. Try using a coat hanger or some compressed air to clear them out.

Thanks. I'm going to try cleaning the drains and see if that helps. I just had it serviced and unfortunately didn't think to tell them about it when I did.
