Holy Poop! Jhandy your seats look unbelievable!!! That was a brilliant choice in black/silver color scheme! I especially like the added leather cover on the hinge where the seat back meets the seat bottom. Nice.

I see your point about the dash, I may leave it alone. It s silver and has a good contrast.
So far I changed the silver cluster top to black leather, The center pod is now black leather, and the side covers on the radio are now black leather.
I want the doors in leather and the carpet will be changed to the dimond pattern like the seats to tie it in.
The cubby flip top needs to be covered in black leather as well.
Believe it or not, the total cost of the leather transformation including the seats is @ 2K.
they all have the silver french stiching and look amazing.
Pictures to come in about a week.

James

Jhandy, make sure you buy the sun shades at Wal Mart (small- two circles) to protect all that nice new leather.

Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the diamond tuck, seems out of place on a German car, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

That aside, you can tell that it is a quality leather and that the craftsmanship is superior.

I've done leather reupolstery before and the leather itself is usually the cheapest part of the deal. You've found a guy with that kind of skillset at a good price and when the need arises, I'll definitely contact him.

Love the color, the stitching and crests, but the diamond tuck, not so much. Good luck with them.

I agree with lil' bastard, the diamond tuck design looks out of place on a sports car. It reminds me of 70's era custom chevy vans....but the quality is nice. So, you have a nice 70's look....

Well I dont remember the 70s all that much. I was born in 72. The diamond tuck must be coming back in style as seen in the aston martin and the 2009 Bentley Azure convertable. ( see attached photo)
The good thing is with this guy he can do any style you like.
