Photos of New Porsche
I just came across these: http://www.luxist.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera-interior-1/1352739/
I am not sure that I think of a 4 door Porsche but the interior looks very nice. |

And the BMW blows it away....

I'm disappointed in the looks of the Panamera. Based on the pictures I have seen, the back of the car is ugly. With the price tag in the six figures, I don't think Porsche is going to do well with this car. You can buy a Maserati Gran Turismo new for about $120,000 and that car is gourgeous, with a functional back seat. Well, maybe in real life the car will look better.

Those are the 1st pics I've seen of the interior. Looks pretty good. Too bad the exterior doesn't. Maybe the car will grow on me like the cayenne did.

holy hell, the price is in the six figures?!? I don't even like it much anyway, but no way would I pay that for it. I wouldn't even pay half that. I'd just get a BMW or Mercedes. I'm sorry, but to me Porsche just needs to stick to sports cars. I'd never buy any of the others. |
There's a lot of buttons to push on that console... how are really needed?
But how many cup holders does it have? I love that fact that my '98 came "cup holder-less".... like a pure sports car. |
It's going to be difficult to introduce the Panamera in this economic environment; things were alot better when the Cayenne was introduced. My friend that presently owns a 993 "RS" clone, a GT3 and two Cayenne turbos may be a candidate for one of these, but he likes the pepper-wagon so much, maybe not.
The recent factory photos look far superior than the pre-production shots...it will be interesting to see how the car works in person. I passed on the Chicago Auto show this year because Porsche chose not to exhibit. Had the Panamera been present, I would have likely gone. |
One cup holder for a six digit sedan.
The other three are definitely hidden behind a leather panel somewhere. Those flat screens in the back look like an afterthought and tacked-on. :barf: |
