A/O Seperator help

Ok,

Replacing A/O seperator this weekend. The plastic snap clamp that attaches to the side of the seperator broke off. The only thing holding the hose to the seperator is the pressure of the O ring in the detent of the seperator. This is difficult to remove by hand even though the clamp snaps are missing but will it hold during driving? How much pressure runs through this line?

Anyone else had this happen?
