2000 Boxster S Aerokit II

This is my first posting to 986forum.com. I have a 2000 Boxster S and debated for an entire winter upgrading to an AeroKit II and Side Skirts. This past summer had a very minor accident with the front bumper and I decided to go for it since the front bumper had to be replaced by insurance anyway.

I originally wanted the GT3 front bumper but talking to the body shop changed my mind. Apparently the GT3 is strictly after marker and not good material or fit. I elected to go with the authentic Porsche AeroKit II for the front bumper and side skirts.

The only issue I had was that we ordered the part number for the regular Boxster and not the "S" and the hole for the oil cooler had to be cut in. It wasn't that hard but had to use the trim from the old bumper.
