2000 Boxster

With the following options..

Yellow stitching and yellow seat belts.
Automatic speed control.
HI-Fi sound with CD.
Air deflector.
Digital sound.

Speed Yellow Box S... I'd settle for that, too.
You don't buy a Boxster to be subtle and blend in with the rest of the foreign tin.
Yellow rules!
Congratulations.

Thanks,

Now thinking of what to do first...

Nice car! Nice house!

First mod: B&M short shifter. Highly recommended.

Jeannot 01-24-2005 11:05 PM

nice wheels :-)

Looks GREAT. The stitching top's it offl. I think the detailed Whites and Yellows, like your's look super.

...my wife would not consider anything outside Silver or Seal.

Ha, yeah - I think so too...

But, I want to get something different...

porsche986 01-25-2005 01:02 PM

yes i agree, really nice... i love yellow boxsters...

you need to go for clear headlights and rears and sides and it would look even better, but it looks superb as it is!

What do you mean by 'sides'?

porsche986 01-25-2005 01:31 PM

sorry enlish slang..

i meant to say side indicators.. swap orange with clear.
:)

i bet you though i meant side of the car, your proberly says **************** what is this guy on about my new boxster and he thinks i need a body change lol

your car is just fine! i always wanted yellow but black was my first choice BUT at the time yellow was very very rare and i kind of regretting not getting yellow, its a right eye catcher!

FUHRIUS 01-25-2005 03:25 PM

yellow is sweet....

go with some dark rims, it really sets the car apart...imho.
for mods: clear lenses are nice, b&m is nice, and a nice exhaust system is nice...oh ya, and drop the car an inch.

Jeannot 01-26-2005 09:01 AM

I think yellow with non clear light is good. It's probably the only color where orange lights fit better...my opinion :-)
Sor for me, don't change anything :-)
Have fun !

We have snow and ice and all the rest here...so no Boxster for a while

porsche986 01-26-2005 10:00 AM

wish we had snow, sure its freezing but no snow.. i feel i have been cheated, very cold but nothing to show for it

:)

Jeannot 01-26-2005 02:17 PM

Come to Switzerland :-) Snow on flat is one thing, but with 20% inclination that is another story...anyway, not a big, but I elected to stay on my Pilot Sports and not on Alpin's so I have to cope with that. Boxster 4S we need :-)
