well my husband was at a gas station/machanic when it happens and because the compartment was pretty full not much went in it..When he saw that that's when he realized he had put it into the wrong spot and asked the mechanic who said it could not do any damage as it wasn't much...That was several weeks ago and it drives fine.

Hmmmm. A little water in the oil or a little sugar in gas are not good for your investment, regardless of quantity. I would err on the side of caution and flush the radiator without delay. A simple chore that could save you caboodles.

I think I'd keep your husband away from the car...

Do flush the coolant system; you'll thank yourself in the long run. Get the car on a lift and have it inspected; don't waste time asking for board opinions.
