Goofy visor

My driver's side visor no longer has four locking positions - it has two. It won't snap to fully up or fully down/in. Is there a fix for this?

The mounting bracket PN# 986.561.307.00 has a post which the visor slides onto and contains the indents for the visor positions. A spring clip catches these indents to 'lock' the position of the visor. Sounds to me as if these are worn down - the piece is just cast pot metal.

If the spring clip were the issue, you wouldn't have any lockable positions at all.

Unfortunately, the post itself is not replaceable, the entire bracket must be replaced. It's an easy fix, you'll just need a torx driver to loosen and replace it. Be careful not to overtorque the screws as this can strip the brass inserts securing the header pieces.
