Heated Seat Problem???

Hi,

Ive been a very happy Boxster owner now for over 2 years with no major issues :)

But this week the following is happening.

When I turn on the heated seat (drivers side) the light on the switch stays on for maybe half a second then turns off!!!

Obviously the seat heater is not working.

Passenger side works as normal.

Has anyone had this issue? If so how was it fixed?

Thanks for any advice.

I'd first determine if it's a switch malfunction by swapping the passenger heater switch with the drivers side. A cheap fix if it is the problem...and I'm all about cheap fixes.

Hi,

Did the switch over and the seat works fine.

Anyone know where i can get a new switch on the internet??

Thanks.

I have not found a place with parts listings on the internet. However, you can call Suncoast and Sunset Imports. Both are discount parts resellers (and prices are very competitive unless you live in the same state as one of these dealerships.)

I buy stuff from Sunset Imports all the time. They're great.
