I don't understand why anybody would use rain x on anything other than windows. |

You can also go to Home Depot and buy a 2 gallon fertilizer sprayer ($15) and fill it with water. A few pumps and it puts out nice pressure stream. Two gallons is plenty to clean off the paint. http://www.northerntool.com/images/p...es/2744_lg.gif |
Rain X
Actually Rain X does attack the wiper blades, but those are a replaceable item.
The window seal of the top of your doors are not meant to be replaced. I will admit that I use it on the rear mirrors, but I try not to get it on any of the paint. People like Rain X because it helps keep everything clean and easy to clean.... like emblems. |
FK1 #425 works very well on the windshield, I sometimes don't use the wipers at all if I'm going pretty fast. #425 is completely safe for rubber, paint, plastic, headlights, tail lights, glass, tires, wheels, tv screen, helmet.
I buy it by the gallon. Keeps dust down, prolongs wax life and cuts down on washing. |
