Yah i dont think im going to get that one. And why would i put another 3.2 in, so i can blow another one up? I rather get more power and piece of mind witht he 3.6 or 3.8. I hope i can talk the shop into doing it, is it really hard?

Also, pick up the latest Excellence magazine and read the article on the M96 engine issues. The 3.2L may actually be the best of the bunch as it's least likely to have D chunk failures due to the thickest cylinder lining. I don't know... when I read that it made me glad to have a 3.2L. If you're worried about engine failure the 3.2L may actually be the best "peace of mind". Kirk |
I would love the stonkin' power of Jake's 3.6 conversion, but I could live with my 3.2 and the upgraded IMS.

3.2 seems to have the most failure after my research?? Both the IMS fails and sleeves. I've neevr heard of the 3.6 or 3.8 failing??
Ok so the shop will do the 3.6 or 3.8 engine!?!? Can anyone inform me of the HP and specs on both, which is a better motor for relaiability ect?? |
