Here is my winter beater....

People on the Audiworld board are getting a bit upset at me posting pictures of my new Boxster S :) So I figured I would post a picture of my Audi here to show them that I do not have any favortism (yet).

It's a 99 A6 2.8Q, and I have 121K miles on her. It is a wonderful winter car.

I keep the orange on the taillights because I like it better - so I rationalize that the orange in front gives balance.

Though I am not usually mechanically challenged, the one time I removed a headlight to look at a failed low beam, the low beam came back and the turn signal went out. The dealer had just returned it after major bodywork, so the dealer cleared the problem saying the harness was mucked up.

I don't know if it was me, the body shop before me that mucked it up - so I'm a little gunshy about removing headlights.

honestly mate its very easy to do, you have a black car like me and it looks superb on a black boxster.

Its very easy and a simple snap of the key removes the whole headlight. I dont think you would have caused any damage to the light after removing it last time.
If you like it then great.. just though i would state, if you wanted to do it, i would help you in email.. step by step

Could you post it anyway? That way someone else won't have to ask.

My winter-beater is a 2001 Kia Sportage...I hate it. But it DOES make me appreciate my Box' even more!
