Do you rust-proof your Box for winter?

Who actually drives their boxster in the snow and if so do you rust proof yours before winter?

I just got a new set of Pirelli 210 Sottozero.

The Boxster has an underbody coating already. Just put some good protection on the topside, wash often and spray out the fender wells and underbody best as you can.

Absolutely not

bad for it, just ends up blocking drain holes.

Boxsters are now 11 years old and I have yet to see one with rust.

Mine was bought in January when it was covered with snow and salt and the owner was carrying around a snow shovel in the passenger compartment. That was 4 years ago. No rust apparent.

Hmmmm, rust has never really been a problem here in Texas. My 30 year old Jeep still doesn't have any rust on it.

Ok I've ruled out on rust-proofing it.

Yeah but that's in Texas, which means:

- Cars never rust.
- Legal to open carry a gun.

Neither of those things will never ever happen in Canada. :p

The gun thing does make you think twice before you make any impromptu hand gestures at the driver that just cut you off in traffic.
