doors will not lock ?dealer reprogram ?
 

This all seemed to happen right after I had the lowering springs put in ,When I go to lock my doors with the key remote the horn beeps twice and sounds like it is locking but it will not lock the doors ,also the rocker switch on the dash does not light up anymore and that will not lock the doors , the owners manual says if the horn beeps twice while locking there is a fault with the central locking system and to take the car to dealer for reprograming ,the problem is the nearest porsche dealer is over two hours away there are some small shops here that work on porsches here anything I or they can do ??or is it off to the dealer
