Lightbulb spin lock adjustment

Mike:
Had the same problem with my recently acquired hardtop. Since my car is in the garage on the lift at the moment, I can't tell you what size, but there are 2 or 3 bolts inside the hardtop behind the pop off cover that hold the locking lever in place. I loosened them slightly and then turned the handle until the pin virtually adjusted itself and locked into position. Tightened the bolts with the top locked and had no trouble since. I haven't leak tested, but the seal looks like it is compressed enought to do the job.
Maybe someone with the real answer can add something I did not self teach myself.

Your going to have to adjust the top. Pull off the plastic cover on the inside of the top and you will see 5 bolts, that take a 5mm allen wrench. Loosen them, and then you should be able to get the top on. Once the top is one you will probably have to repeat this process to get a good fit.
