California Duster, has anyone tried this?

Has anyone try this? I hate after washing my car it collects up dust so quick. Do these leave swirl marks on the car?

I bought one about 9 years ago. It works good at lifting dust off the interior. It is like a mop with a wax substance that dirt sticks to. Never tried it on the exterior.

Yes, I have them for my black 930 and they worked great. It doesn't leave swirls as long as you don't use it on dirty car. I only used for removing dusts. If your car is in a garage and you are just using it to remove collected dusts in your garage, then it would be fine. I wouldn't use it on any car that sit outside. Also, make sure your car is well waxed so that the duster just glides on your car. I do like them for that purpose only.

I bought mine few years ago and the one im using right now is my second one and i love using it and like what TP said, it has some kind of wax on it that attracts the dirt,

I also bought a small one for the interior and it works same as the one i use for the exterior.

but never, ever, ever use it on the top unless you want a red furry top and also it doesn't need washing, just replace it when it get's really dirty...

I got one years ago as a xmas present from a buddy. Best gift ever.

Read the instructions when you get it though... you need to leave it on a stack of newspapers for a couple of days after purchase to let the wax seep out of it so it doesn't streak your paint.

Best thing about it is that the older it gets, the better it works. It must be magical.

I have a small one for the interior and a large one for the exterior. I wouldn't live without them during the spring pollen season.

I have had one for years and it works great. Only problem is if you run it across your top it leaves thread junk behind..

I use them for my HT equipment and my car. They do get better with age. Target sells the large and small at good prices (plus they will return it if you don't like it).

I bought one about 13 years ago. It worked so good I bought one for each car.

The dirtier they get the better they work. I only use it to dust the car. If the car has sat in overnight dew or driven on the rain, the car will have to be washed first.

They sell a small one for the interior that works good too, especially on my wire wheels.

Awhile back I did replace one that I broke the handle on. I cheaped out and bought a knock off one and it doesn't work although it looks the same.

I was in Walmart the other day and noticed the official California dusty for only $10. Thats cheap and I wonder if they have cheapened them now or if the market is just saturated, justifying the low price.
