Stereo (CDR-24) broken on '07 987
 

Hi,

My CDR24 powers up but just says "PORSCHE" on the faceplate and does not function. Any idea what the problem is? The car just had it's first annual service at 4k miles. Dealer says no codes or anyting to enter a fix... just bring it in for them to check out. Seems that the battery must have been disconnected for a bit as clock is 10 mins slow now. MAybe that was issue.

Turn the radio on. Press the eject button. Perhaps a CD is in there and not being read. Otherwise bring it to the dealer. That's what warrantys are for.
