Boxster Bra?

We are planning on taking our Boxster S to PA for my wife's class reunion at the end of August. :) It will be about a 350 mile one way trip to the Keystone State from NH. Most of the travel will be via the Interstate(s). Yeah, I know...BORING, but it's only for an extended weekend.

Just looking for some input from others on the Forum about bras. Do the Porsche Bra's come with the mirror protectors, too?

Other than making frequent stops to stretch, etc...anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks!

Bruce

Don't know the answer to your question, but I've got a suggestion. Think about getting a clear bra. You can get side mirror protection with the clear bra material. Just be sure you locate a good shop to apply it. My previous Box was an 01S and the good folks tried 3 times and couldn't get the bumper piece on w/o some wrinkles by the headlites. My LE came with a CB and they did the bumper in sections - there are a few more seams, but its perfect. Great investment.

As far as making lots of stops on your trip, you'll find the Box eats up miles like a LeMans racer. No need to stop often unless you have a small bladder (doesn't Avodart fix that?). Last fall I drove the 01S to NC for the NU-Wake Forest football game. On the way back, I drove from Knoxville, TN to Omaha (900+ mi) in 14 hrs by myself. 350 miles? That's a sprint.

Enjoy the trip and wow the wifey's classmates.

I have the oem bra, only use it for trips like yours. It works great, but you have to be sure to have the hood/fenders absolutely clean before installing it or else it'll leave fine scratches. The morror covers are not included but are only like $25 for the pair, sometimes cheaper on ebay.

I got mine at eagle-day - http://www.eagleday.com/expr.html . Just checked and they've gone up a bit since I bought them 5 or more years ago, but still reasonable given the cost of a respray.
