You'll never notice any difference in power, there's no torque increase.

So does this mean the 2009 Boxster will not have the changes to the body that we've been seeing in spy shots? They've unveiled the 911 with the very subtle body changes, DI engine, and the flappy paddle manual transmission, but maybe all that is still a year away for the Boxster?

It should have been black with the stripes they put on the Cayman S special edition.

I hope they delay the complete new bodywork for a bunch of years. I'll want one desperately and won't be able to have one if it comes out in 2009 or even 2010!

So how many different "Limited Edition" Boxsters can Porsche make in 1 yr?

Are they trying to sell all the 2008 Boxsters 500-1600 at a time?

Jeez, mine sure doesn't feel exclusive anymore.

^Just like Nike shoes... that's how they make money by selling less!

At least yours have special paint color... I much prefer yours than that Design Edition 2.

My local dealer has one - black-on-black... nice looking.

Better looking...?????

Unless you buy it to throw a blanket over it and sell it in 20 yrs., IMHO, it's not worth the premium. Drive it any number of miles, and it won't be worth any more than any other boxster of the same year.

With the gingerly way most of these things are treated, there's no reason to buy a new one. Let someone else take the big initial depreciation hit and get one that's a few years old with minimal miles. It's amazing that folks are finding 97s or 98s with only 16000 miles. That's almost like buying a new Porsche for $12k.
