FabSpeed???

Hey, my friend has a 1999 911 with a FabSpeed exhaust that sounds really great! I haven't heard of FabSpeed so I was wondering if they make muffles for the Boxster and if anyone has them on their Boxster?

thanks,
-Steve

Fabspeed does make a full exhaust kit for the boxster. It comes in Two stages:

1. Headers with 1 cat per bank

2. Cat back exhaust with secondary cat delete (if you had them to begin with).

They are considered to be a pretty good company from what I've heard. Personal, if I was to buy a new exhaust I would go with fabspeed. They are, however, a bit pricey.

Hope this helps, here's there website:

Thanks!

When I heard them for the first time I was like "Wow, I've gotta have that"...

I have FabSpeed secondary cat bypass pipes on my Box S with a sport exhaust...sound is intoxicating. Also had a FabSpeed muffler with bypass pipes on my RS America...you could hear me all around the track.

When I was considering a sport exhaust system last year for my car, I looked at FabSpeed. But I decided to get the PSE mainly because of warranty issues and the biggest reason was the FabSpeed mufflers hung below the rear bumper sight-line on the 987...and I did not like that look/design (flaw).

I don't think this is an issue with the 986.

I just swapped out my "old" FabSpeed system for their new system (which is based on the Cayman exhaust) and it is incredible. Typical FabSpeed fit and finish, and fantastic sound with NO RESONANCE.

Highly recommended.

Thanks guys for all the tips and advice. I'll consider the FabSpeed when I have some extra cash. Right now I've got an occasional oil leak and I'm worried that it's the RMS but I'm not sure... Last time I looked I thought is was from the bellows on the Oil Air Separator, either way it will cost me a few bucks and my time.

Thanks again for all the positive comments on FabSpeed!
