Spark plugs
 
Hi, have some NGK Iridium ix BKR6EIX spark plugs i been trying to get around to install.The gap out of the box is reading at .028. I think there suppost to be at .032 no?Are these ok to install for non-factory ones?

You haven't said your car's year or model, it makes a difference.

The BKR6EIX plug is intended for the 3.2ltr. 'S' model '01 and up. If you have a base model (or an '00 'S'), you should be using a standard NGK BKR6EK plug (stock #2288). All according to NGK.

Assuming you have the correct plug for your car, they should be gapped to 0.32". NGK also states that contrary to some thinking, plugs do not come pre-gapped, but need to be adjusted to the individual car/engine.
