extended warranties

So, I was reading the thread about how real the IMS problems are when something one of the respondents said perked me up. I bought my '04 Boxter S (13.5K miles on it) Porche certified pre-owned with a 2 year warranty. Is it possible to buy an extended warranty after the initial 2 year warranty is up? I am paranoid about the some of the problems seen in these cars so I would rather play it safe than sorry.

If it's possible to buy an extended warranty on it, does anyone know any good companies to look at?

Can you tell this is my dream car??????

Hi K

The short answer is YES you can buy an extended warranty after your CPO runs out. If you do a search on 'extended warranty', you'll find a plethora of information on the topic. In fact, there have been 9 threads about EWs this month alone.

But enjoy your CPO coverage until it runs out. And be sure to get everything fixed before it expires.
