2003 base, according to Carfax titled Lemon in NY & PA at 3K miles car took back by Porsche due to a remote control problem. Car have now 50K miles, was serviced from 3K miles to now at Porsche dealer. Since 3K miles had fuel pump & tranny (manual) changed.

More details

Got the complete computerised listing of what have been done on the car from the dealer from 13610 miles to today.

Let me tell you that CarFax is out of track. They says on there report that tranny was changed, but it's not the case, it was an RMS replacement.

The mileage would indicate the "issues" have been cleared up and for this car mileage is a good thing. However, with a scar like that on its record, the seller better have this baby at a deep discount.

Have you been looking for a Box very long? It's a buyers mkt right now and the deals are getting better by the day. There has to be some lower mileage cars out there belonging to some very motivated sellers. If you find one you like, shoot 'em a low number. What can they say, NO?

No need to jump at the first one you find. I'm not saying don't buy this one, just be sure its a way better deal than anything else.
