Any ideas where these can be wired in a 986 boxster?

They are on the new 997s

they come on with the ignition but not necesserily with the front fogs or lights

You could route then through the trunk/firewall and wire them to the switched power and ground of the telephone connector.

where abouts is the telephone connector? cheers

It is under the center console and very easily accessible. If you do a search there are some pictures of it on here.
When you install the LED's, could you post some pictures? :cheers:
