Anyone ever do this? How does it work? Do you just drive to Oxford, park in town, and then just sit around all day? I am considering it, but given I would not know a soul there I need to convince the wife, and myself, I would not be bored to tears.

I see you're from Newport. I have Aunt and Uncle, a couple of cousins and their kids in Covington. Applegarth's and Spoor's.
My family is from the area. Mom's family - Applegarth - from Covington, Dad's family - Wullenweber - from Cincinnati. Also have another set of Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Western Hills.
