to replace the boxster

2007 335i

its alot of fun, it a auto but it has the paddel shifter things which are actually fun,

its deff, one of the best bimmers i have drivven

did i mention its FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i do NOT own either car, but have family that owns each - and I've driven botht he boxster and the 335.

yes the 335 is fast. it handles nice. but IMHO it's NOWHERE near as fun as a boxster.

if you need practicality, backseats, etc - the 335 is a great car. add an ECU upgrade and you have near close to 400 hp on tap.... a monster.

but for pure driving bliss - i've driven nothing like a boxster with the top down, listening to that motor's music....

335s are awesome! Great color too. I would love to have one myself. I'm glad you went with the turbo'd version. I love the rear of that car.

I drove a 335i back when only the early demos were on the lots and the cars hadn't really started shipping yet. Awesome car. That twin turbo V6 is smooth. I've been tempted, but I can't give up the Boxster.

You could have bought mine!

The 335 was fun. Great engine -- maybe one of the best all around engines ever made. Scary fast, but still able to get 30 mpg on the highway.

But the 335 is much bigger and not really a direct competitor to the Boxster.
