Do all 2002 Boxsters have HID headlights?

If not, how would I tell if it does by not being with the physical car? Thinking of buying a boxster and want to know if it has the HID headlights. Thanks.

No they do not, the Litronics ( as called by porsche ) are an option, They differ in that the Litronics have a round reflector in the middile of the housing ( think BMW, Mercedes ) the regular just has the white "frosted" no refelctor, on whole light.

Just ask. Chances are if its a boxster it probably does not, if it's an S it probably does.

There is a white sticker under the front trunk lid with the option codes. The code number for lits is 601.

Also, lits always come with headlight washers if it was a factory option. The retrofit kit does not include the washers.
