Locked out of Porsche. Need helpo!

I am currently locked out of my 2001 Porsche Boxster . The unlock buttons never worked. I never got a chance to reprogram it. Just today after attending an event, I tried to lock my car and the lock mechanism broke. I tried to unlock it, and it won't. It turns smoothly without any engagement.

Now, I can't get into the car..I called AAA and they were no help.

Any ideals on what I can do?

Call a local lock smith. They should have a lock-out kit. You will be able to get in by sliding a special tool thru the top of the glass and top weatherstrip. After the tool is in, the locksmith can grab the handle and pull it to open the door. Next stop is to a service center to have them diagnose the problem with the latch in the door. It sounds like the cylinder is bad or the connecting rod to the latch.

Best of luck!

Thanks! I decided to break the window. The car needed to be moved. Fixing the window might not be too expensive (diy) and the cost of the locksmith and tickets and hassle might have been too much. I should get at fixing the lock on Monday.
