Question Over rev'ed engine again ... how bad is it?

Hey I love my new Boxster, but I find that it pulls so great at high revs I am often over reving the engine.

Is it timming retardation that kick in durning over rev protection?

It seems that once, spark ignition stopped completely.

How much damage (hopefully non) is happing to my engine in these instances.

Kick butt car, I've perfected the four wheel drifting slide around
just about any curve!
