You need to stop smoking, it's clogging up your lungs.

I'm sorry, what was this a Catscan of? =)

I will try to have mine copied and put into pdf so others can download it.

Perfectlap, that would be GREAT! Everyone should have a copy of that considering how much we get charged for everyday maintenances.

Thanks!

that would be great perfectlap! just imagine the savings we'll have if we do our self but we need repair manual!

I am looking for a service manual also. Found an interesting site on the web, porschepubs.com. Claims to have CDs of what look like the large factory manuals for $59. Sounds to good to be true. Does anyone have experience with porschepubs.com?

Something to ask them before you buy it on cd is if it's in PDF format or not, and if the PDF file is searchable by part number, keyword, etc.

I bought a PET catalog for my boxster on CD, an authorized and original Porsche CD, and it has the PET catalog in PDF format all right, but you have to look through 335 pages which are all pictures of the pages, not the actual text. No key word searching is available. Ugh.

Any word from perfectlap regarding the PDF manual?

pilyo bxster 11-23-2004 09:19 PM

i bought the cd's.. just got them 2 days ago and im preety impressed! i also thought they are too good to be true for $59. as long as you have acrobat 5.0 or higher you will be ok. im very much recommending it! im glad i didn't pay $400 - the one they are selling on ebay.
