porsche engine technology questions
 

1. what is variocam? I understand how vtec works, but I cant really grasp what variocam does... btw I'm not talking about variocam plus. I have a 2000 boxster

2. What other tricks does the 2000 2.7L engine have like? A honda gsr has a variable length intake manifold.

variocam from this thread is not nearly as good as honda's vtec which is very disappointing.
